iRIMS-Ethics (IRB)

iRIMS-IRB manages all new applications, protocol amendment, renewal, closure of studies and incident reports submitted to and reviewed by NUS IRB. Researchers can monitor all their submissions and studies from a single dashboard, as well as, track protocols that are expiring in 90 days or less.

Materials (user guides, training videos and FAQs) are only accessible via NUS network for NUS staff and students.

From 1 Dec 2020, all submissions (new application, protocol amendment, renewal, closure, incident) to NUS-IRB must be submitted through the iRIMS-IRB.

    1. Device specifications for optimal iRIMS-InfoReady experience:
      • Display with 1024x768 or higher resolution.
      • Internet Explorer 11, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome for PC; Safari, Firefox, or Chrome for Mac.
      • Microsoft Edge is provisionally supported for Windows
    2. Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Pulse Secure sign-in is required when accessing the user guides outside of NUS network.
      1. By default, all NUS Staff and graduate students are granted access to iRIMS-IRB.
      2. NUS undergraduate students who require access to iRIMS-IRB OR NUS Staff who would like to request access for NUS undergraduate students associated with their research can do so by fill up this form - Account Creation Request Form. Access will be granted within 3 working days of request. Please note that you should not request for access if you are submitting an application to the DERC. iRIMS-IRB is only for submission to NUS-IRB.
      3. Students will require MFA account setup to access iRIMS-IRB, as such, should contact IT Care itcare@nus.edu.sg or 6516 2080, for this to be set-up or refer to the guide at this link.
    3. Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Pulse Secure sign-in is required when accessing the user guides outside of NUS network.
      1. Users can access iRIMS in three ways:
        1. Key in the is https://nus.prod-sg.cayuse.com/ in your web browser
        2. Access via NUS-IRB Website (click on iRIMS Tab)
        3. Access via eServices in NUS staff portal
      2. The following login prompt will be displayed. Enter your NUSNET ID and password to sign in with the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Please ensure the MFA for this NUSNET ID is setup. Refer to https://ntouch.nus.edu.sg/dwp/app/#/knowledge/KBA00021401/rkm for instructions on how to setup MFA.
         
      3. Upon successful login, the iRIMS dashboard will be displayed. Click on the IRB tile to access the module.
      4. Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Pulse Secure sign-in is not required when accessing iRIMS-IRB within the NUS network.
